Editor's Take
By the Pogglo editorsThe desk-drawer classic, rebuilt with a kind streak — a safe first click, three board sizes, and your best times kept on record.
Minesweeper needs no introduction, but this version deserves one anyway: it is the calm take on the classic. Your opening click is guaranteed safe, so no run ever dies to blind luck on move one, and from there it is the deduction everyone knows — read the numbers, flag the mines, clear the field. Three difficulty levels let you warm up on a small grid before graduating to boards that demand real bookkeeping.
The quality-of-life work is what sets it apart. Games can be paused and resumed instead of abandoned, your best times are recorded per difficulty so there is always a number to chase, and the board zooms on phones — with a dedicated flag mode and larger cells, so a careful long-press never turns into a fatal mis-tap. It even speaks eight languages. Play with the mouse, entirely from the keyboard (arrows move, Space reveals, F flags), or by touch.
Minesweeper endures because it is pure logic wearing a gray trench coat, and a version this considerate makes the logic the whole show. If deduction under light pressure is your idea of a good time, the rest of our puzzle games will keep the streak going.
