Editor's Take
By the Pogglo editorsA hand-drawn narrative puzzle set in a hushed old town, where piecing together a broken book is the whole point.
Every shopkeeper in the town of Celadon is sitting on a story they would rather not tell, and Limo Storyteller: Celadon Town Chronicles hands you the job of coaxing them out. You play Moyo, the town's lone storyteller, working from a fragmentary book your grandfather left behind. The Celadon Town Chronicles only make sense once you have gathered every missing piece, and the game trusts you to do that gathering yourself.
This is a side-scrolling narrative puzzle first and a mystery second, which is a nice reversal of the usual order. The pleasure here is deduction and attention rather than reflexes, and because there are multiple endings, the truth you land on depends on how thoroughly you dig. It rewards the kind of player who reads every sign and revisits a stall on a hunch.
One honest caveat: this is a landscape experience built for a mouse or a tablet held sideways, not a phone in portrait. Set it up on a desktop and give it room. If atmospheric mysteries are your thing, the rest of our puzzle games are a click away, but few of them are this quietly literary.
