Stretching the canvas…
A tactile layered mahjong solitaire puzzle. Find matching free tiles, move them into the four-slot wooden tray, and clear every layer without filling the tray.

Editor's Take
By the Pogglo editorsLayered mahjong solitaire with a four-slot wooden tray, where the real pressure is running out of room, not tiles.
The hook in Jade Layers isn't finding a match, it's finding one before your tray betrays you. This is mahjong solitaire rebuilt around a four-slot wooden tray: you tap any free tile to slide it in, and two identical tiles clear on contact. Fill all four slots without a pair and the run stalls, so every pickup is a small gamble on what surfaces next.
What makes it stick is the layering. Tiles sit stacked, and clearing the top row is what frees the pieces underneath, so you're constantly reading two or three moves ahead instead of grabbing the first jade dragon you spot. Hint, Undo, and Shuffle are there when a board knots up, though leaning on them too hard takes the sting out of a clean solve.
It plays the same whether you're clicking on a desktop or thumbing tiles on a phone, which makes it an easy pick-up-and-go puzzle. If tactile, layer-by-layer tile matching is your thing, this free browser take is worth a few rounds, and there are more puzzle games a tap away when you've cleared it.
Touch or click a free tile to move it; match two identical tiles to clear them. Use Hint, Undo, and Shuffle buttons when available.
