You get one line, and someone's safety depends on where you put it. One Stroke Rescue hands you a hand-drawn, doodle-style world and a single continuous stroke of ink, then asks you to shield a little character from everything falling out of the sky — rocks, fireballs, bees, spikes and worse.

It is a physics-flavored drawing puzzle with a planner's heart. Your ink is limited, so every level becomes a small design problem: where the line goes, how long it stretches, and where it lands all decide whether your rescue holds. Terrain and traps change from stage to stage, and undo, hint and retry are there for the inevitable misfires.

Clearing stages, chasing three stars and beating your high score keep the loop tight, and it plays free in the browser on both mobile and desktop — hold and drag to draw on a touchscreen, or use the mouse and spacebar at a keyboard. It is a tidy little brain-teaser that fits right in with our other thinky games.
