Editor's Take
By the Pogglo editorsA one-button knife with a hundred and one ways to land badly.
Everything in Slice Master answers to a single input: click, tap, or hit Space, and the knife flips. That one action carries you through colorful obstacle courses where the tumbling blade slices food and objects on its way forward, spikes punish sloppy presses, and the finish line only rewards runs that stayed sharp the whole way through.
This is timing-based in the strict sense — the flip is fixed, so success comes from when you press rather than what you press — and that constraint is exactly what makes the arcade formula moreish here. Unlockable blades and bonus stages give the loop somewhere to go, but the real progression happens in your reflexes: courses that felt vicious on a first attempt start reading like rhythm charts.
It is a lunch-break natural, and it keeps good company with the other quick-reflex arcade games on the shelf.
