The combat is where it earns its keep. Beyond simple walking and jumping, this action game hands you a real toolkit — a run, a double-jump and wall-jump, light and heavy attacks, a web shot, a yank, and a dash — and then throws wave battles and boss fights at you to use them on. Learning when to swing in versus when to dash out is most of the fun, and the control spread rewards players who actually vary their attacks instead of mashing one.
