Editor's Take
By the Pogglo editorsAn auto-battle roguelike survival run — dodge the swarm, let auto-fire do the shooting, and build toward a 75-second reactor boss.
Movement is your only real weapon in Orbit Core. You pilot a glowing energy core through endless enemy waves, and while your shots fire on their own at the nearest target, staying alive is entirely about how you weave through the swarm. That split — you dodge, the gun handles the rest — is the heart of the auto-battle survival roguelike, and it keeps your attention on positioning instead of aiming.
The depth lives in the level-ups. Each one hands you a pick from 15 upgrades spread across five build paths — homing shots, orbiting blades, shields, pulse waves, or lifesteal — so no two runs stack the same way and you're constantly weighing what your build actually needs. The goal is sharp and finite: survive 75 seconds and put down the reactor boss waiting at the end, which gives every run a clean finish line rather than an open-ended grind.
