Editor's Take
By the Pogglo editorsA twelve-level 3D platformer of running, jumping, and jetpacking across an air fortress — with a boss fight waiting at the end.
The Adventures of Captain Callisto has good bones, and it's honest about where they came from: it began as Cody Ebberson's MIT-licensed js13kGames 2021 entry, now ported for Pogglo. What you get is a proper 3D platformer — run, jump, and fire your jetpack across the Zeta air fortress, sweeping up every star and reaching the transporter while patrolling aliens and incoming missiles do their best to end the run.
The structure is what makes it more than a novelty. Twelve levels are arranged along a measured difficulty curve, each with its own star ratings and best times to chase, and it all builds toward a final showdown with the Great Kang. A step-by-step tutorial introduces one mechanic at a time, so the jetpack and the jumping never arrive all at once.
It's genuinely playable on both desktop and mobile — keyboard with WASD, Space to jump, and Shift for the jetpack, or an on-screen thumbstick with jump and jetpack buttons on touch, across eight languages. A tidy, free browser platformer with real levels and a boss at the end. There are more adventure games nearby if it leaves you wanting.
WASD or arrow keys to move, Space or Z to jump, Shift or X for the jetpack, R to restart the level, M for music, Esc for the menu. On touch: on-screen thumbstick plus jump and jetpack buttons.
Getting started is simple — wASD or arrow keys to move, Space or Z to jump, Shift or X for the jetpack, R to restart the level, M for music, Esc for the menu. On touch: on-screen thumbstick plus jump and jetpack buttons. It is designed for desktop and mobile — keyboard or touch. Give it a couple of tries; most players find their rhythm after the first round.
