Editor's Take
By the Pogglo editorsA 12 km sky full of named rivals — low-poly dogfighting with a hangar worth earning.
Scale is the first card Aero Frontier plays: a 12 km aerial battlefield stretching over city blocks and open terrain, large enough that how you fly matters as much as how you shoot. The named AI pilots are the standout touch — you are not mopping up anonymous drones, you are hunting specific rivals across the map, and mastering the city and terrain flight lines is how you win angles on them.
The low-poly fleet is more than a visual style. Credits earned in combat unlock new aircraft, and each arrives with its own weapons and handling, so switching planes genuinely changes the dogfight rather than reskinning it. Learning which airframe suits your instincts — and which flight line suits that airframe — is the long game.
Controls meet you wherever you are: steer with the mouse, WASD, arrow keys, or a drag on touch, and fire with a click, Space, or a held press. On desktop or phone alike, it stands out as one of the more distinct entries in our shooting games lineup.
Mouse or drag to steer; left click, Space, or hold touch to fire; WASD and arrow keys also steer.
