Editor's Take
By the Pogglo editorsA cozy minimalist management puzzle: draw the roads that link yurts to farms, and beat each red ring before it fills.
Tiny Yurts takes the drawn-network management game and shrinks it to something you can actually hold in your head. You sketch paths across the grass to connect yurts to their farms, keeping every animal fed and cared for. Each farm ticks down a red ring, and if you fail to link it in time, the whole settlement quietly collapses.
The tension is spatial rather than frantic: your paths tangle, farms multiply, and suddenly the tidy little map is a knot you have to re-route on the fly. Dragging a yurt to a smarter spot or wiping a bad path with a right-click drag becomes the difference between a humming village and a doomed one. An illustrated tutorial in eight languages eases you in.
It is open source (MIT) by Joe Gaffey, originally built for js13kGames, and this Pogglo edition softens the early pacing and flags new farms so you are not caught off guard. Free in the browser on desktop or touch, it sits nicely alongside our more strategy games.
